IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covering powered access product – Mobile Vertical (3a).
Course Aims
To instruct an Operator to prepare and safely operate Mobile Vertical (3a) MEWPs to obtain an IPAF MEWP Operator Licence.

This course instructs a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when using a MEWP.
Course Aims
To instruct a candidate to safely select and conduct inspections of harnesses and lanyards used for restraint on a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) or Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP).

MEWPs for Managers is the essential, one-day course for those who plan, supervise and manage the use of mobile elevating work platforms in the workplace.
Course Aims
To instruct a supervisor/manager in the requirements to select, use and manage various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) under his/her control.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course the candidate will:

PAL+ is an optional, additional one day of category-specific training aimed at operators working in higher risk or challenging environments.
PAL+ courses are aimed at operators with exciting PAL card which must be in date.
What does this Course include?
PAL+ includes a short, compact theory session and focuses on practical training, using large machines such as a scissor lift with a minimum of 10m working height and a boom with a minimum of 15m working height. For example, one practical exercise focuses on work in confined overhead spaces; another practical exercise involves driving the machine on challenging terrain.
Candidates have to complete a theory test, a practical test and an individual interview.

Maximum number of candidates for combined categories (e.g. 3A & 3B, or 1A & 1B) = 4
Maximum number of candidates for single categories (e.g. 3A, 3B, 1A or 1B) = 8
